With the release of the iPhone 15, the Apple lineup also began using TYPE-C port chargers. This update got us thinking about the differences between USB ports and TYPE-C ports.
Similarities
1. Both USB chargers and TYPE-C chargers can charge a wide range of electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops.
2. Power Adapter Wall Quick Charge and TYPE-C chargers are both connected by a cable, which allows them to function as a power source for various electronic devices.
3.USB chargers and TYPE-C chargers are designed to be practical and compact, with little weight, the Desktop Usb Charging Station is easy to use in daily life and traveling.
4. Both USB chargers and TYPE-C chargers follow industry standards for charging and powering.
Differences
1.Bluetooth headphone charger has a long history and has various versions, such as USB-A, USB-B and USB-C, which are often used in the market; TYPE-C charger specifically refers to the charger with TYPE-C connector.
2.USB chargers come in different power output levels, low power and high power, such as 5V/1A, 5V/2.4A or higher; TYPE-C chargers generally only support very high power output options, such as 20V/3A or higher.
3. TYPE-C chargers have a reversible connector, which means you can plug it in either way, while traditional USB chargers have a standard USB-A connector, which can only be plugged in one way.
4. USB chargers may have different charging protocols, such as USB Power Delivery USB PD or Qualcomm Quick Charge; TYPE-C chargers typically only support USB PD for faster, more efficient charging.
5. 5. TYPE-C chargers are more versatile than USB chargers, and TYPE-C chargers can support functions other than charging, such as transferring video and pictures, and basic data transfer; whereas USB chargers focus primarily on charging functions in this regard.
