Technology upgrade:from“fast charging”to“smart charging”
In 2025,the core competition for multi-port chargers has shifted from a single fast charging power to intelligent distribution. For example, domestic brand Anker recently released“140W four-port GaN charger”equipped with AI dynamic allocation technology, which can real-time monitoring of the power demand of the access device, automatically adjust the output power of each port,to avoid overload or waste of efficiency. In addition, the EU's latest implementation of the“Universal Charging Protocol(UCP)”standard to further unify the type-c interface fast charging protocol, solving the problem of multi-device compatibility.

Scenario Expansion:Office,Travel and Home Coverage
Industry analysts point out that the application scenarios of multi-port chargers have been extended from the traditional travel office to the smart home and car.Tesla launched the“Car Multi-port Fast Charging Dock”this month to support cell phones, tablets, laptops charging at the same time, and adapted to its in-vehicle system;while the millet ecological chain enterprise ZMI launched the“desktop charging station”integrates wireless charging,USB-C/Hub expansion and other functions, and becomes a home charger.Hub expansion and other functions, becoming the new standard for home office.

Driven by environmental protection and policies
The tightening of e-waste management by governments has also boosted the popularity of multi-port chargers. For example,China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology(MIIT)explicitly encourages consumers to use energy-efficient,multi-device integrated charging solutions in its Green Consumption Guidelines 2025,in order to reduce the production of redundant charging heads.Manufacturers such as Apple and Samsung have also gradually eliminated the standard chargers in cell phone packages, instead recommending users to purchase multifunctional GaN products.

Market Outlook
Industry insiders predict that with the emergence of new hardware such as AR glasses and folding screen devices, the future of multi-port chargers will develop in the direction of“higher power(200W+),smaller size, and multi-protocol convergence”.A technological race on“how to use the least plug to meet the most devices”is quietly reshaping the consumer electronics peripheral market.
