2. System function and composition
2.1 function
The multifunctional intelligent monitoring socket is based on the common socket, and the following functions are added in combination with the information:
1) Monitor the voltage, current and frequency of the electrical appliances connected to the outlet.
2) Monitor the working environment temperature of the socket.
3) Compare the operating voltage or current of the monitored appliance with its rated value. If the rated value is exceeded, the host sends a command to the execution unit to automatically cut off the power of the appliance and implement the protection function.

4) Communication function: The monitored information is transmitted to the host computer through the communication interface, and can be connected into a local area network within the home or industrial site. On the host side, people can periodically or irregularly query the working status of the electrical appliances connected to the outlet through a human-machine interface. If you want to achieve further convenience, you can connect the local area network to the Internet through the public telephone network, so that you can easily check the working status of the household appliances at any time outside the home by using a mobile phone or a PC.

2.2 Composition
The intelligent monitoring socket is composed of a power system, a monitoring system, a control system and a communication system. (1) Power system: complete the conversion of the lighting power supply to the DC stabilized power supply, and provide the working power to the intelligent system. It consists of isolated buck, rectification, filtering, voltage regulation and other circuits.
(2) Monitoring system: It consists of voltage sensor, current sensor and temperature sensor and analog/digital conversion circuit, which is responsible for information collection and processing.
(3) Control system: consists of a microprocessor (single chip) and an execution device. On one hand, the microcontroller controls the analog to digital conversion of the acquisition part; on the other hand, it accepts the command of the upper computer and then hands this command to the execution unit to complete, for example, cutting off the power supply of the appliance.
